National Park Signs in Raytown
The National Park Service marks the
Santa Fe, Oregon, and California Trails as National Historic Trails across Raytown! The Santa Fe, Oregon, and California National Historic Trails across Raytown are
now officially marked with new installed National Park Service signs. You can now follow the original route from 51st
& Blue Ridge Blvd to the south Raytown City limits at 83rd & Blue Ridge Blvd. These signs were provided from
a grant to the Santa Fe Trail Association by the National Park Service. The local Chapter, the Missouri River Outfitters,
worked with the Raytown City officials to get them installed. In addition to the local tour route signs, a Historic
Site sign has been installed at the Archibald Rice Home at 66th & Blue Ridge. The signs through Raytown are part
of a program that will eventually have signs from Franklin, MO to Santa Fe, NM.
